Our Documenters program is an essential tool for us to add new thinkers, generate new ideas, and expand the field for civic tech.

Christopher Whitaker is something of our docu-expert. We’ve worked with him to develop our livestreaming program, test new equipment and methods, and spread knowledge in the sphere.

We deployed 30 documenters in the context of the Chicago School of Data Days conference. It vastly increased the fluidity of information among attendees and made the learning accessible to ecosystems all over.

We’re expanding our Documenter program as part of our upcoming Un-Summit series and in Open Gov Chicago(-land) meetups. More to come!
