The Otho S. A. Sprague Memorial Institute is the deep partner and essential funder of nearly all of our Health programs.
Specifically, Sprague is the inventor and funder of the Smart Health Centers and Chicago Health Atlas projects, and has supported them financially since their inception (October 2011 and April 2012, respectively). Their Executive Director, Jim Alexander, has been critical to setting strategy for each of these projects.
Sprague also financed Smart Chicago's participation in the Chicago Architecture Foundation's City of Big Data exhibit in May 2014.
