Connect Chicago is proud to have many partners across the city, who work in a diverse set of fields to expand digital access in Chicago. One of those partners is the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is a sub-recipient of a $1.5 million grant from the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP).
Through an innovative partnership with Chamber member TEC Services, Inc., the grant has been used to survey public computer centers, upgrade training and curriculum at 152 places and coordinate a central hub for technology training across participating city departments and delegate agencies.
Check out the Chamber@Work newsletter to find out more about this unique and rad partnership.
